Countdown begins....

Ok, not long to go now before my adventure begins! 10 days or thereabouts and I'm starting to get a bit nervous. It's a very hectic time too. I'm packing all my worldly possessions into boxes, cleaning up the house so it's fit for my lodger. It's harder work than being at school! So much to do and so little time. It's going to be a busy old week, catching up with friends and spending time with my family, as well as finishing off all I need to do. But I'll get there eventually.

Last week had a welcome break in Scotland, visiting very good friends Zoe and Alex who live at Gordonstoun school near Elgin, where Zoe is a House Mistress. Had a fantastic week of long coastal walks, great company and a few dolphins (the Moray Firth is one of the best places in the UK to spot bottlenose dolphins). It did me the world of good to have a break from all the planning and organisisng and spend some time doing 'proper' holiday things. It's a part of the UK I don't know at all and i would definitely recommend it. I've really fallen in love with the north east Scotland. It's totally idyllic and can't wait to explore more one day..
